20.11.2019. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with participation of the heads of industrial and communication spheres where aspect of the industry development.
Having announced the agenda, the President gave floor to Minister of Industry and Communication T. Durkhanov who reported on work for fulfilment of the Governmental programmes, opening of new production facilities by attraction of foreign investments and implementation of digital technologies, modernization of existing facilities.
The ministry and relevant agencies developed plan and its technical specifications for promotion of information and communication technologies in the country.
Detailed information on large-scale work for turning of the country into big transport and logistic centre of the continent carried out by the ministry and its structures has been presented within the report.
Minister of Textile Industry R. Rejepov reported on construction of new textile complexes, facilities of art carpet manufacturing in the regions of the country, work on expansion and improvement of equipment and facility base of the structures under the ministry.

On November 19, 2019, at the Istanbul University, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey and the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul together with the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and Istanbul University organized and held a ceremony of presentation of the translation into Turkish of the second book of the President of Turkmenistan “Turkmenistan - The Heart of the Great Silk Road”.
The ceremony was attended by the rector of Istanbul University Mahmud Ak, students and teachers of the university, deputy head of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), teachers and students of a number of higher educational institutions of Turkey, diplomats of the Embassy and Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Turkey, representatives of local state and public organizations, businessmen and representatives of the media.

19.11.2019. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with the management of oil and gas complex where improvement of activity of this sphere and enhancement of its efficiency have been discussed.
Highlighting the agenda, the Head of the State gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Minister M. Meredov who reported on the situation in oil and gas industry and plans of development of fuel and energy complex in the nearest future.
It was mentioned that relative work is carried on for introduction of the latest scientific achievements and international practice to fuel and energy complex, increment of volumes of oil and gas production and processing.
The Vice-premier reported on the measures taken for stable provision of gas to local consumers and supplies to foreign markets according to the contracts with Türkmengaz State Concern.

On November 18, 2019, the presentation of the books of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, “A horse - a symbol of faithfulness and happiness” and “Turkmen Alabay,” as well as scientific seminar under the theme “The coverage of Turkmen national and cultural heritage in the books of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov” were held in Beijing.
The chiefs and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, former Ambassadors of the PRC in Turkmenistan, employees of the Chinese National Friendship Society with Foreign Countries, professors and teachers of the higher education institutions, political scientists, representatives of companies and mass media have participated to these events.
The participants of the events got acquainted with the creative works of the President of Turkmenistan in which the uniqueness of Turkmen culture and heritage is reflected.
The participants of the presentation and seminar expressed their gratitude for organizing these events and wished further prosperity and peace to the friendly people of Turkmenistan.


32 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen the UK, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased lighting kerosene and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, as well as gasoline and diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery. Businessmen from Turkey purchased industrial sulfur (“Türkmengaz” State Concern), and businessmen from Russia purchased high-density polyethylene produced at the Kiyanly polymer plant.
Moreover, businessmen from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia purchased cotton yarn and short-fiber cotton to the total amount of more than 48.922 million US dollars.
Businessmen from the Russian Federation and the UAE concluded transactions in deposit manats for cotton yarn to the total amount of more than 922,000.00 manats.
Turkme businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene produced at the “Türkmengaz” State Concern to the total amount of 7.644 million manats.
