On September 10, Astrakhan will host the VI Caspian Media Forum, which will be attended by representatives of all five Caspian countries - Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Iran. It is planned that the Turkmen delegation will participate online.
The Caspian Media Forum was first held five years ago. It is an international platform was created specifically to address important information, diplomatic and economic issues, exchange experience, discuss the development of regional and international journalism, as well as form a single information field for the countries of the Caspian region.
The topics of the current forum will be the problems of regional tourism development and ethnocultural cooperation. The forum will be attended by heads of federal ministries and departments, a number of subjects of the Russian Federation, scientists and political scientists, representatives of public and youth organizations, and journalists.
The forum will include plenary session, discussion sessions for a variety of topical information issues, as well as held the tabulation and announcement of winners of the journalistic competition "The Caspian Sea without Borders".
