A single electronic platform for the exchange of legal information is planned to be created within the frame of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The corresponding draft of the project was reviewed on August 17 during an online meeting with the participation of experts from the CIS member states, reported on the internet portal of the CIS executive committee.
The interaction of the CIS countries through paper document flow leads to a delay in the processing of documents, violation of the terms of procedural actions. To avoid such problems, the CIS member states need to improve methods and approaches in the field of legal assistance through the introduction of modern information and communication technologies.
The creation of a single CIS electronic platform for the exchange of information is designed to increase the efficiency and productivity in the field of legal assistance, as well as to ensure the operational interaction between relevant authorities.
After reviewing the draft of the Single Electronic Platform, the experts discussed the need to finalize the project taking into account the comments and suggestions received during the meeting, which was offered to representatives of Uzbekistan.
