An exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence takes place in the Turkish capital

On August 16, 2021, an exhibition of photographs and cultural values dedicated to Turkmenistan opened at the Congress Center of the National Library of Turkey in Ankara. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey jointly with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and the international cultural organization TURKSOY. The exhibition is dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence and the proclamation of the year 2021 "Turkmenistan is the motherland of peace and trust". 

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Serdar Cham, representatives of the administration of Vice-President of Turkey Fuat Oktay, heads and representatives of foreign embassies, and representative offices of international organizations, heads of several public organizations. 

The exhibition contains creative works of the President of Turkmenistan, as well as works of culture and applied art - jewelry, musical instruments, and much more. Photos and portraits reflecting the history of Turkmenistan and the current achievements of the country are featured as well.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey Ishanguly Amanliyev addressed the guests and participants of the exhibition, and spoke about the ongoing large-scale programs in Turkmenistan that cover all spheres of the country's economic and social life, and also underlined its cultural and humanitarian activities at the national, regional and international levels.

The exhibition will end its work on August 18.
