Following the results of the Economic Forum of the Central Asian Countries held in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza", a package of 85 bilateral agreements on various areas of cooperation was signed.
At the opening ceremony of the plenary session of the Forum, the participants were greeted by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhammedov.
The forum was attended by heads and representatives of a number of ministries and government agencies of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as, representatives of the public and private sectors of the region's countries, international and regional financial institutions who attended online.
During the forum, the issues of cooperation between the Central Asian countries in the field of trade, economy, and investment, the fuel, and energy sector, and the chemical industry, as well as in the field of transport and communications were discussed.
The main issues raised at the Forum were measures to facilitate trade between the countries of the region: improving tariffs and regulating e-commerce, deepening integration efforts in priority sectors of the economy.
The forum participants developed a number of recommendations to achieve stable economic growth, expand and effectively use the potential of the Central Asian countries, strengthen economies and develop good-neighborly relations.
Following the results of the Forum, the participants adopted the Final Document of the Economic Forum of the Central Asian Countries.
