On July 25, 2019, the first issue of the Turkmen-Astrakhan information bulletin “Khazar” has been published with the support of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) together with the Government of the Astrakhan Region.
The first issue of the newsletter reveals the main priorities of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation on the Caspian Sea, including the joint implementation of the initiative of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to hold the First Caspian Economic Forum (PCEF) on August 11-12, 2019 in Turkmenbashi.

As reported, in frames of the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers that focused on the results achieved in the first six months of the year, the President of Turkmenistan granted vacation to the government officials on July 15 - August 15. Within this period, the heads of ministries and sectoral departments have the opportunity to have rest and improve their health in sanatoriums and resort centres.
While on leave, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov demonstrates an unwavering commitment to the principle of the efficient time management. As reported, during his leave, the President of Turkmenistan completed the next volume of the scientific work “Medical Plants of Turkmenistan”.
Today, on the eve of the announcement of an international tender for the implementation of a new stage of development of the Turkmen capital, the President inspected the projects for the further development of Ashgabat using digital technologies, and gave the relevant recommendations in this regard.
We are talking about the implementation of an architectural mega-project - Ashgabat-City. In frames of the project, it is planned to build a large complex of social, administrative and other facilities, all the necessary infrastructure. The projects of the new “city in the city” reflect the best traditions of the national architecture and the advanced trends of the world urban planning as well as an innovative approach embodied in the very concept of the project.

An important outcome of the first day of the international forum "Health-2019" was the signing of memorandums and cooperation agreements between the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the relevant institutions of the Russian Federation and Israel.
Thus, a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between the International Educational and Scientific Center, the Scientific and Clinical Center for the Health of Mother and the Child, and the Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Federal State Budgetary Institution (FGBU) Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov”; Memorandum of Understanding between the International Educational and Scientific Center, as well as the Medical Treatment and Advisory Center named after S.A. Niyazov of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the City Clinical Hospital named after S.P. Botkin of the Moscow City Health Department of the Russian Federation; Memorandum of Understanding between the Hospital with the Scientific and Clinical Cardiology Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery named after A.N. Bakulev of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation; Memorandum of Understanding between the International Center for Traumatology, as well as the Scientific and Clinical Center for the Protection of the Mother’s and Child's Health of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Russian Scientific Center “Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics” named after G.Ilizarov.
An agreement was also signed between the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the project “Development of Simulation Technologies in Turkmenistan in the Medical Education System”.
The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Health of the State of Israel have adopted a Plan of cooperation in the field of health and medicine for 2019-2024.

20.07.2019. 73 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange last week.
Businessmen from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Singapore, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Afghanistan and others purchased aviation kerosene, diesel fuel, base oil, liquefied gas, low-sulfur heating oil produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Representatives of the business circles of Afghanistan also purchased M-100 fuel oil produced at the Seydi oil refinery, and Russian businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene produced at Kiyanly polymer plant.
Moreover, businessmen from the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Singapore, Hong Kong, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine purchased colorless sheet glass, cotton yarn, cotton fiber to the total amount of more than 264.280 million US dollars.
Businessmen from Russia, the UK, the UAE concluded transactions in deposit manats for cotton yarn to the total amount of more than 4.531 million manats.
Turkmen businessmen purchased cotton fibre to the sum of over 1.458 million manats.

The heads and representatives of the ministries and profile agencies working in the healthcare sphere of the CIS member states, as well as the specialists of the WHO European Regional Office, structural agencies of the UN and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent participated at the meeting.
