«Connecting Minds, Creating the Future» is the motto of the World Expo-2020 which will pass in Dubai. The largest event of the Arabian world will be visited by participants from 190 states, including from Turkmenistan.
National pavilions will reflect the basic priorities of development and cultures of –participant countries. The accent is made on an organic combination of high technologies with traditional values. In the pavilion of Turkmenistan it will be possible to experience literally as wheat grows and ripens and as Akhalteke horses are galloping hardly touching the ground.
The national display will show modern economic achievements of the country and its heritage. For example, external design of one of the pavilion walls will reproduce a Turkmen ornamental carpet.
The special attention will be given both to issues of ecology and participation of the youth in their decision. As organizers of review mark, it is necessary for us to establish a balance with the world in which we live.
That is why at the Expo-2020 for young active workers: scientists, researchers, and inventors wait alternative sources of food, water, pure and renewed energy.

192 countries will take part in the global show – EXPO 2020 for the opening of which is left a year. It is supposed that from expected 25 million visitors 70 % will arrive outside of the United Arab Emirates that will be the biggest share of foreign visitors in a 168-year-old history of the world’s fairs.
EXPO 2020 will accept on the average hundred thousand visitors a day, and in its organisation will the artificial intelligence, advanced control systems of mass stream and many other things for trouble-free work maintenance are used. Organizers of the World’s fair in Dubai declare that energy which plans to use in operating time of EXPO-2020, will be completely made from renewed sources.
The project is carried out by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Dubai for support of necessary infrastructure in the world scale action. DEWA already realised a number of megaprojects for EXPO-2020. Their number included also maintenance of a platform of an exhibition with renewed energy, including the building of three large substations. They are named in honour under themes of Dubai EXPO – “Possibility”, “Mobility” and “Stability”.
Energy through intellectual power supply systems will be generated and be distributed, thus the energy most part will arrive from park Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum.
Visitors will be also offered a mega-action to use non-polluting vehicles with charge stations Green Charger established on the entire territory.

The Presidium of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has appointed Mr. Tajeddine Seif the BelCCI representative in the United Arab Emirates.

Tajeddine Seif is a chairman of the K&K Middle East company, the owner and chairman of Innovation Center FZE, a partner of a number of companies in the UAE, as well as in Italy and in Belarus (Bremino Group LLC), a member of the Board of Chamber of Commerce.

Since 2007, Mr. Seif has been actively collaborating with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates, provides assistance to the Belarusian side in searching for business partners in the UAE and other Persian Gulf states, in arranging bilateral trade, economic, sports, humanitarian, and other joint projects.

Mr. Seif has a professional command of Arabic, English and Russian.

Grodno hosted a business forum «Partnership of Grodno Region with the Republic of Uzbekistan». The forum was organized by the Grodno Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Grodno Region Executive Committee and «Grodnoinvest» Free Economic Zone Administration within the framework of the Uzbek delegation visit to Grodno region.
During the business forum, the prospects of Belarusian and Uzbek companies' interaction were discussed; the presentations of trade and economic potential of Grodno region, FEZ «Grodnoinvest», the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan were made.
The plenary part was followed by B2B negotiations between the representatives of more than 30 Belarusian companies and 19 organizations of Uzbekistan. The Uzbek side expressed interest in cooperation with the Belarusian enterprises in the field of animal farming, as well as in purchasing the Belarusian meat and dairy products, agricultural machinery.
The Grodno Branch of the BelCCI signed a cooperation agreement with the Territorial Division of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Surkhandarya Region and a memorandum of cooperation with the Territorial Division of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a seminar «Peculiarities of Halal Certification».
The event was attended by the Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates and concurrently to Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia Roman Golovchenko, Director of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology Abdulla Al Maeeni, Deputy Chairman of the Muslim Religious Association in the Republic of Belarus, BelHalal LLC Director Rustam Khasenevich, the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, 40 Belarusian exporting enterprises.
The seminar was organized as part of the new large-scale project of the BelCCI «School of Export». The businessmen got application-oriented information on the rules of obtaining a halal certificate.
