The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich took part in the Central European Initiative business forum "Energy Efficient and Ecological Technologies".
The business forum in Minsk gathered over 200 representatives of business community, state organizations, academic community of the CEI member states, as well as international financial institutions representatives.
The forum participants discussed the issues regarding introduction, using and development of modern energy efficient and environmentally friendly technologies to achieve sustainable social and economic development in the CEI region.
The event was organized by the State Committee on Standardization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study and the BelCCI In view of the CEI Belarusian Presidency in 2017.

25.10.2017. In Turkmenistan, an international exhibition and scientific conference "Education and Sport in the Epoch of Might and Happiness" will be held on November 9-10 this year.
About 30 international organizations accredited in Ashgabat, as well as foreign companies - producers of computers, interactive equipment, lingaphone and laboratory equipment, school furniture, visual aids, educational software, sportswear and stock will participate in the event.
Turkmenistan will be represented by universities, educational and sports organizations, specialized individual enterprises.
It is expected that scientists and specialists from 27 countries will take part in the scientific conference.

Within the framework of the 10th Congress of the World Federation of Chambers of Commerce, which takes place in Sydney (the Australian Union) on September 19-21, the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich met with the Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce World Chambers Federation Peter Mihok.

During the meeting, the prospects of cooperation of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the ICC were discussed, as well as the possibility of creating a National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce in Belarus.

Peter Mihok noted the importance of holding the international round table discussion "ATA Carnet and trans-border cooperation" by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on October 6 this year, and expressed interest of the leadership of the International Chamber of Commerce in visiting Belarus in the near future.
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is an independent, non-commercial international organization established in 1919 to help businesses by promoting trade and investment, opening markets for goods and services, and facilitating free movement of capital throughout the world.

All chambers that are members of ICC automatically become members of the World Chambers Federation, established by ICC to be the advocate of its chamber of commerce members worldwide.

The Bel CCI became a member of the ICC in 1998.

The Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with the Cambodian delegation headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia Mrs Tekreth Kamrang. Vladimir Goshin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia, took part in the meeting.
The sides considered the prospects for bilateral business cooperation expansion in the fields of agriculture and agricultural machinery production and supply, as well as the possibilities of the Belarusian delegation participation in business activities to be held in Pnomh Penh this December.

Representatives of Ukrainian and German business structures and authorities took part in the conference "Development of German-Ukrainian Economic Cooperation in Eastern Ukraine".

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Mark Becker, First Deputy Chairman of the Kharkov Regional State Administration (HOGA), noted that the active and productive activity of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established in October last year, demonstrates the strengthening of economic relations between two countries.

In turn, the president of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce Andreas Lier stressed that the Kharkov region plays a special role in the development of bilateral relations.
