Commercial and industrial chamber of Turkmenistan

On 27th May the discussion of development prospects of intergovernmental partnership between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia has taken place in Ashkgabat. Within the bounds of negotiations delegations of two countries the Agreement of cooperation was signed between Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The delegation of Saudi Arabia includes the Heads and Representatives of whole series of major companies, specialized to various spheres. Managers and representatives of leading ministries and departments, bank sphere, and Industrialists and businessmen Union of the country have taken a part from Turkmen side at the meeting. The delegation of Turkmenistan is headed by Mr. H. Muhammedov - Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet  Ministers of  Turkmenistan. During the negotiation, place of which is Conference-hall in Ministry of textile industry of Turkmenistan, the detailed exchange of opinions about possibilities of trade and economic relations development and establishment of productive business contacts has taken place.
In particular, the Arabian partners have given offers concerning interaction in oil and gas industry, textile, food, pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, building sector and in sphere of investments
One of perspective sectors of cooperation had been named tourism, first of all, in context of the grandiose project realized in Turkmenistan on creation of the National tourist zone «Avaza» - a resort of the international class on the coast of Caspian sea.
Within the bounds of visit the delegation of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia meetings in the Government and Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, and also in series of industrial ministries, including economy and development, trade and foreign economic relations, have taken place.
