Within the limits of official visit of Dear President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to the Russian Federation in March, 23-25 rd, 2009 with a view of the further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation and demonstrations of the successes reached in economy of Turkmenistan during an epoch of New revival and transformations in the city of Moscow have taken place the Turkmen-Russian economic forum and an exhibition-fair of the goods «the Textile, carpet industry and jewels of Turkmenistan - 2009». This exhibition has been organised in Central and one of prestigious expocentre of Russia "Expocentre" on Red Presnya.
Within the limits of negotiations at the Turkmen-Russian economic forum representatives of business groups of Turkmenistan and Russia have discussed possible ways of development of traditional cooperation with the account of available huge economic potential and resources of two friendly countries and have discussed actions in this direction.
In Central expocentre "Expocentre" joint session of the Turkmen-Russian and Russian-Turkmen business council based on support of Commercial and industrial chambers of two countries has been held. During session it has been carried out the detailed analysis about interested directions and perspective possibilities of development of mutually advantageous economic cooperation.The exhibition-fair of Turkmen production «the Textile, carpet industry and jewels of Turkmenistan - 2009» has involved special interest among Muscovites and visitors of the Russian capital, on it national jeweller ornaments from gold and silver, fabrics of the manual manufacturing, a known fabric «keteni» have been exposed, woollen products and the products made of the camel wool, production of the textile industry of our country, polygraphic and  souvenir  production,  have  been  presented  the  original cultural customs, all it gives certain concept about the presents Turkmenistan and about its achievements.
The exhibition-fair «the Textile, carpet industry and jewels of Turkmenistan - 2009» has finished the work on March, 25 th, 2009, from Commercial and industrial chamber of Turkmenistan the deserved diplomas and certificates have solemnly been handed over its participants.
