In Ashgabat, in the exhibition centre “Sergi Kosgi”, on March 17-18th, there had been held an exhibition and business forum of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Individual entrepreneurs and representatives of 125 companies and firms of non-governmental sector of economy had taken part in the representative review organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
Development of business as an integral element of the market is the one of priority directions of the strategy of social-economic development of Turkmenistan, developed and successfully realized under the leadersh of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. |

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has taken part in solemn ceremony of opening of the World Exhibition in Shanghai «EXPO-2010» to which heads of the foreign states and other numerous foreign visitors have been invited. In the morning on May, 1st the head of the state has passed from his residence to the International Exhibition Centre "EXPO-2010" which has settled down in one of Shanghai's districts, on both banks of Huanpu river, and has taken part in Turkmenistan pavilion opening ceremony for the first time representing its exposition at a universal forum. As a whole in the list of participants of the World Shanghai exhibition there are 246 countries and international organizations. The small town of picturesque, surprising by their fantastic silhouettes pavilions has grown here. Each pavilion has its individual architectural implementation. These original constructions all together realize the concept of an exhibition and its basic motto - «Better city - better life». |

In Abu-Dhabi has begun its work the International investment forum of Turkmenistan. In the capital of the United Arab Emirates on the 1st-2nd of February is the Investment forum of Turkmenistan and exhibition of the goods. Organizers of the forum that lasted two days were Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan together with the branch ministries and departments. The members of the Governments of Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, heads of the branch ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, administrations of welayats and Ashgabat, representatives of the public organizations entering into National movement "Galkanysh", representatives of non-governmental economy sector, in particular the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan have participated in the solemn ceremony of opening of the forum, taken place in the national exhibition center of Abu-Dhabi (ADNEC). |

The area of the exhibition hall of Turkmenistan at the World Exhibition “Expo-2010” which begins working on May 1 in the city of Shanghai of the People Republic of China is more than 1000 square meters .For our country which has participated at this universal forum for the first time, it is the new opportunity to display to the world community its achievements and progress, and at the same time to become familiar with the world best practices in various spheres, to extend the geography of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners. New high-altitude business-complex of the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan will appear in two years in Ashgabat. According to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, it will rise in the central part of one of the most brisk city highways – Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy Shayoly. Construction of the complex which will be placed on the area in 2,2 hectares, will be carried out due to own means of the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. All works for its erection (building) also are entrusted to the domestic companies not public sector of economy. |
